We love our parents and we know the lectures are all for our own good, but you'd agree that sometimes they say some really wacky shit to make us study. From emotional blackmail and direct comparison with relatives, to arguments that are so logically flawed, they'll fit right into a Rohit Shetty movie. Here is my list of things parents say to make us study.
1. "Humari to beet gayi beta."
2. "Apna hi bhala karoge, humko kya?"
3. "Hamare ghar me hamesha se padhai ka maahaul raha hai! Bas ek tu hi..."
4. "Bas ye do saal padh lo, fir life bhar aaram." ( Big Lie)
5. "Bas ye chaar saal aur padh lo, fir life bhar aaram."
6. "Pardadi ji ki aakhri ikchha thi ki tum IIT jao."
7. "Shaadi kaise hogi?"
8. *Watching terrorists on news* "Padh lo nahi to aise ban jaoge."
9. "A/C isliye lagwaya taaki tum padh sako."
10. "Cable isliye hataya taaki tum padh sako."
11. "Car isliye nahi le rahe taaki tum padh sako."
12. "Sharma ji k betene 90% marks laye hai exam me, aur tum....
